About Dad's Duct Cleaning

Veteran-owned duct cleaning, done the way it should be done.

Dad's Duct Cleaning is a veteran-owned, family-run air duct and dryer vent cleaning company serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Our crews use the Rotobrush BrushBeast system, HEPA-filtered brush-and-vacuum equipment, agitation tools that actually clean (rather than just push dust around), and we leave every job with before-and-after photos so you can see exactly what we did.

We bring the same discipline to your home that we brought to our service: show up on time, do the work to standard, and leave the place better than we found it. One flat rate per home, agreed before we start, no surprises on the invoice.

Why Dad's Duct Cleaning

The duct cleaners who actually clean your ducts.

Dad's Duct Cleaning is built for one thing: getting the dust, dander, and debris out of your ductwork, and proving it with photos. Veteran-owned, NADCA-trained, flat-rate pricing that doesn't change at the door.

Veteran Owned & Operated

Founded and run by a U.S. military veteran. The discipline that came with the uniform, show up on time, do the work to standard, leave the place better than you found it, comes with every Dad's Duct Cleaning crew.

NADCA-Trained Technicians

Every Dad's tech is trained to NADCA's ACR protocol, the air-duct industry's recognized standard for assessment, cleaning, and restoration. That means source removal, not just "vacuum the registers and call it a day."

Flat-Rate Pricing, Up Front

One price, agreed before we start the work. No add-ons at the door. No "oh, you also need…" surprises on the invoice. The quote you get is the quote you pay.

Our Process

From the first call to a spotless walk-through.

A clear, four-step process that leaves your home cleaner than we found it. Every step is documented, every register photographed before and after, and the quote you get is the quote you pay.

1

Inspect & Quote

Walk-through inspection of every supply and return run. We pull a register cover and show you what's actually in there. Flat-rate quote, in writing, before we touch a thing.

2

Contain & Connect

The Rotobrush BrushBeast captures debris in its HEPA-filtered vacuum right at each register. Plastic containment over open registers. Drop cloths under access points. Your home stays clean while we work.

3

Agitate & Extract

Air whips and brush systems dislodge debris from every run. The HEPA-filtered vacuum captures it before it can resettle. Every supply, every return, every plenum, not just the easy ones.

4

Sanitize & Walk-Through

Optional EPA-registered antimicrobial fog (your call). Photos of every run, before and after. Final walk-through with you so you can see exactly what changed.

Featured Review

"Best decision I made all year. The crew showed up on time, walked me through what they were going to do, and then actually did it. Took photos of every register before and after, and the after photos honestly blew me away. We've had ducts cleaned before and it was nothing like this. Highly recommend."

"Family ran a tight ship. Quoted me one price on the phone, that's what I paid. No upsells, no surprise add-ons. The dryer vent was packed solid with lint and they cleared it all out. House feels different."

"I have bad allergies and the HVAC blower was caked in dust. They spent over four hours on a system other companies would have rushed in 90 minutes. My nose isn't running for the first time in years."

Common Questions

Answers we give every day.

The questions homeowners ask most often, answered straight. If yours isn't here, just call.

How often should my air ducts be cleaned?
NADCA recommends having residential air ducts cleaned every 3 to 5 years for most homes. You should clean them sooner if you've had recent renovation work, new pets, a smoker in the home, visible mold growth on the registers, or noticeable allergy symptoms that don't have another explanation. Dryer vents should be cleaned annually, that one's a fire-safety issue, not a comfort one.
Does duct cleaning actually help with allergies and air quality?
Yes, when it's done correctly. A real source-removal duct cleaning (HEPA-filtered vacuum plus mechanical brush agitation) measurably reduces dust, pet dander, pollen, and other particulates circulating through your HVAC system. What it won't do is replace your air filter or fix a moldy crawlspace. We'll tell you straight if duct cleaning is the right intervention for your situation, or if something else is.
What does duct cleaning cost in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Every home and system is different, so we do not advertise one-size-fits-all pricing. Instead we offer no cost estimates: a quick walk-through, then one flat rate in writing before any work starts. The quote you get is the quote you pay, with no add-ons at the door. Beware of $79 or $99 specials, those are bait, and there is no version of a complete duct cleaning done right at that price.
How long does a typical duct cleaning take?
A standard single-system home runs 3 to 5 hours, start to finish. Multi-system homes, larger square footage, or systems that haven't been cleaned in 10+ years can take longer. We'd rather take an extra hour and do it right than rush and leave dust behind. The walk-through and quote are free either way.
Do you clean dryer vents too?
Yes. We clean dryer vents as a standalone service or bundled with an air duct cleaning. A clogged dryer vent is one of the top causes of residential fires in the U.S., if your dryer is taking two cycles to dry a load, that's the warning sign. We snake the full vent line from the dryer to the exterior cap, capture the lint, and verify airflow before we leave.
What's the difference between a real duct cleaning and the "$99 special" ads?
A real NADCA-protocol duct cleaning uses professional equipment like the Rotobrush BrushBeast, mechanical brush agitation that reaches every supply and return run, and HEPA filtration on the vacuum. It takes hours and uses specialized equipment that costs tens of thousands of dollars. A $99 "special" is, at best, a shop-vac on a couple of registers; at worst, it's a bait-and-switch where the price jumps to $500-$1,000 at the door once the crew is already on site. We don't do either.
Do you move furniture, or do I need to clear the registers myself?
We move light furniture (chairs, side tables) to access registers. We'll ask you to move heavy items (sectionals, beds) before we arrive to keep the job on schedule and avoid damage. We'll cover your floors with drop cloths and use shoe covers, the home will be in better shape when we leave than when we arrived.
